Meet the Founder

I’m Mayuree “Mary” Matlock, Founder and Principal Interpreter of Crosspoint Language Group, LLC.

Based in Texas and serving clients nationwide, I provide professional Thai–Lao–English interpreting and translation services for courts, law firms, healthcare organizations, government agencies, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and faith-based institutions where accurate communication matters.

My professional background includes federal court roster recognition, multi-state court interpreter credentials, nationally recognized medical interpreting certification, and advanced Thai language proficiency. I remain committed to continual professional growth through ongoing training, credential advancement, and lifelong learning.

Born in Udon Thani, Thailand, raised in Saudi Arabia, and now based in the United States, my multicultural journey has shaped both my profession and my purpose. It has taught me that language is more than words—it carries culture, identity, trust, and human connection.

When I founded Crosspoint Language Group, my vision was not simply to build an interpreting practice, but to create a professional language access firm grounded in excellence, integrity, and service.

At Crosspoint, we believe language access is more than communication—it is a commitment to professionalism, preparation, and human dignity. That philosophy guides every assignment we accept and every client relationship we build.

Crosspoint provides interpreting, translation, transcription, and language access consulting across legal, healthcare, immigration, education, corporate, government, nonprofit, and faith-based settings.

At the heart of Crosspoint is a simple mission:

To help people understand one another clearly, respectfully, and with dignity.

I believe every person deserves to be heard, understood, and treated with dignity, regardless of language or background. It is a privilege to help bridge cultures, build understanding, and serve clients during some of life’s most important conversations.

Testimonials

Real Experiences. Real Results.

"I hired Mary to simultaneously translate my Thai wife’s 2nd Green Card interview. The interview was very tricky because during our 1st interview several months earlier, the Immigration officer had asked several questions about events that had taken place over 15 years ago — where, understandably, my wife’s recollection did not match completely with USCIS’s records. The interview went for three hours, including one part of the interview that was under oath. Mary was not only technically proficient during the interview, but her calm, professional demeanor made a huge difference — both to ourselves and to the agent. I can honestly say that we would probably not have passed the interview and been approved for the Green Card had it not been for Mary’s professionalism and capability. I highly recommend her and her company."

J. Baker

"Thai is not highly requested in the Buffalo, NY region but it is almost impossible to fulfill when requested - we were so lucky to have found someone with Mary's high level of skill. We have been graced with the privilege of her serving a few of our customers over the last 2 years, but one sticks out in particular. When she interpreted for a new legal customer who was serving a client in a situation of domestic violence, Mary handled it with the utmost care and consideration of both the client and customer. Although her services were delivered remotely, she still went above and beyond to drive to a local notary in Texas to get some documentational proof of interpreting despite not having been forewarned of this need. We were unaware she would be asked this but she completed the task expediently and without complaint, and we were able to come to an amicable compromise with the customer about compensating her for these additional services requested. She handled the whole situation with poise, grace, and professionalism and the customer complimented her services highly."
